Insurance Info
I do not contract with insurance companies and am therefore an “out-of-network” provider. Prior to our first meeting, I advise that you contact your insurance company and inquire about your out-of-network mental health / behavioral health benefits. Most plans reimburse a portion of the fee. I will provide a statement after each session that you can submit for reimbursement.
Please contact me for information regarding current session rates. Cash, check, and all major credit cards are accepted. FSA / HSA funds can typically be used to cover the cost of therapy sessions. Payment is due at the time of service.
Cancellation / No show policy
Clients are required to give notice at least 24 hours prior to the session in order to either cancel or to reschedule appointments. Any cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment time will be charged the full scheduled session fee. Repeated late cancellations or no shows may lead to early termination of treatment.
Technology / Social Media
Email: While I will not share your emails with anyone without your express permission, email is not considered a secure means of communication and therefore privacy cannot be ensured. For this reason, I typically use email communication only for scheduling or logistical purposes. If you have a non-emergent clinical concern, please call me.
Text Messages: Existing clients may use text messaging for brief communications (e.g., “running 5 minutes late”). For clinical concerns, existing clients are encouraged to use the “private message” function in the client portal to send a secure message. Please allow 24 hours for a response.
Social Media: I do not use social media accounts to connect or communicate with clients.
